Absolutely. For example, if a student knows of a planned attack on an individual student they can report it through this system. Any threat of attack can be reported.

To report any threat or bullying, simply click on the OPTIONS link at the top right of the home page and choose the SUMBIT REPORT tab and follow the instructions.

None. This is a stand- alone system that is completely controlled by the parents and the citizens in the community.

The school will cooperate with this system; to refuse will create tremendous issues with the entire community as well as legal issues. It is commonplace for principals to receive bullying and threat reports through their email; this system is no different. The SSN HANDBOOK LINK explains this.

This system is free of charge.

SCHOOL SHOOTER SECTION:

Studies of mass shootings show that these are revenge attacks for the abuse and bullying the shooter has endured from the students; both at school and online. A very common phrase is this:

“When a child is persecuted by bullies to the point that their lives are no longer worth suffering through, the bullycide victim is born. When a bullycide victim decides that others should die with him, the mass school shooter is born.”

When the researchers behind School Safety Net began this journey in 2010, a main priority was to identify the motivations and behavior of shooters in the 12 month period leading up to their attacks. These researchers were also focused on identifying any common characteristics that the school shooters shared. Our researchers found the characteristics below in almost all school shooters They are victims of long-term, non-stop bullying. Their dignity has been completely destroyed by this abuse. Their initial thoughts are to commit suicide (bullycide) but they soon develop the desire to take those who persecuted them, and those who watched and did nothing, to their grave with them. School shooters desire to have enormous kill numbers and when they walk into the school everybody is a target. School shooters are very rarely old enough to buy a weapon. School shooters use family owned, legally owned weapons to commit their attacks. School shooters leave large trails of evidence leading up to the attack; Nikolas Cruz is a great example. Reporting this evidence and immediately addressing the threat is the most effective method of stopping a school shooter. The evidence is always there.
